E energy Observer is the first energy-autonomous hydrogen ship without greenhouse gas emissions or fine particles.

This electric-powered ship of the future operates using a mix of renewable energies and a carbon-free hydrogen production system from seawater. This technological and scientific challenge aims to test in extreme conditions cutting-edge technologies foreshadowing the energy networks of tomorrow, applicable on land. Energy Observer is currently carrying out a six-year odyssey for the future (2017-2022), 50 countries, 101 stopovers, in order to raise awareness among the general public about the major themes of the ecological transition, in particular renewable energies, biodiversity, mobility and the circular economy, during its stopovers in its itinerant village, on social networks and through a documentary collection. This world tour is led by Victorien Erussard, founder and captain, and Jérôme Delafosse, expedition leader and documentary director."

It is only natural that Energy Observer has equipped itself, on land and at sea, with coffee bean machines supplied by Mapalga. In fact, the use of a grain machine, rather than capsules, combined with an ecocup allows us to considerably reduce our carbon footprint."

Himself suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS) and a former marathon runner, he has inspired many high-level athletes with his determination and he has brought together multiple partners, including LOMATEA, to raise funds for the ARSEP foundation.

The ARSEP Foundation is the driving force in France for supporting research into multiple sclerosis. Recognized as being of public utility, thanks to 60,000 active donors, partners and companies, the ARSEP Foundation constantly funds research to reduce the disease.

The LOMATEA tea brand donates €0.50 per box purchased to the Foundation.
