Rooibos is a plant from South Africa, Aspalathus Linearis, which is harvested and processed like tea. Except that it does not contain any theine and can therefore be classified as an infusion.

It grows exclusively in South Africa in the Cederberg mountains, located north of the city of Cape Town.
